Teacher, Consultant, Instructional Designer, Technologist, Fishing Guide and more...
I have a passion for teaching, educational technology consulting, and instructional design. My professional objectives include being a lifelong learner, and effectively sharing information to help others learn and achieve success on their own merit. I have spoken to hundreds of educators and administrators across the State of Minnesota on a number of topics related to effective technology use in the classroom. I specialize and have presented on Google's G-Suite for education, Apple hardware and software, coding, instructional design, and multi-district collaborative projects. I love what I do and I can help you and your school district or business reach its educational technology goals.
A teacher since 2007, I have wide range of experience in a traditional and alternative secondary setting, a blended learning setting, and an online school setting. I was also an Athletic Director for two years. I serve on numerous committees for my district, and was also appointed by the IT department as building technology manager. I possess a Bachelors Degree in Social Studies Education, and a Masters Degree in Instructional Design and Technology. I am currently pursuing an Educational Leadership Certificate with the intention of becoming a school administrator in the near future.
I married the love of my life Jackie in August, 2014. We live in Detroit Lakes with our dog and two cats. My hobbies include fishing and boating on Minnesota's lakes, weight lifting, playing guitar and piano, singing, and recording music. I enjoy following current events and politics, and I am also an avid history and philosophy buff.
